Asphalt waterproofing with self-protection
We offer the service to carry out waterproofing work with asphalt sheet with a self-protected surface. We offer two variants: bituminous sheet with mineral self-protection and bituminous sheet with metallic self-protection, with the mineral one being the most recommended.
Sheets with mineral self-protection with slate granules on their outer face, in grey, red or green colour, this sheet is commonly called, “the slate asphalt fabric”.
It is the most common upper sheet in double-layer membranes for waterproofing roofs and patios with heavy protection adhered, non-adhered or floating, also for garage ramps, enclosure walls of storage rooms, garages and planters.
asphaltic self-protected surface with an 80 micron embossed aluminum sheet, natural or red in color, this sheet is commonly called "aluminum asphalt fabric".
This sheet, although no longer in use, is placed to give a finishing touch to a walkable roof. The sheets are adhered to the support using a blowtorch and overlapped together to achieve efficient waterproofing of the roofs or terraces of the buildings to be rehabilitated.
Plasticized asphalt waterproofing
We offer the service to carry out Waterproofing work with bituminous mastic made of bitumen modified with elastomers and plastomers. There are different
reinforcements and weights per m2. These sheets are placed to later cover them with a self-protected sheet (double layer) or a ceramic flooring, mortar or insulation.
The modified bitumen and reinforcement variants we offer are made of fiberglass (FV) and polyester fiber (FP), the latter offering greater resistance to breaking due to elongation.
